With an international audience of just ten people, Martin introduced us to his new (but very old) Martin Guitar, told us about his latest album – a transatlantic re-imagining of songs collected in the Appalachians in 1918 – and paid an emotional tribute to his late father-in-law Roy Bailey on the anniversary of his death. He answered questions from the audience and, despite some sound issues, interspersed the conversation with some of his unique virtuoso playing and singing.
